Omniscope is a biotech startup that scans the immune system through simple, non-invasive clinical tests to detect diseases at the earliest stages broadly. Omniscope generates deep profiles of T cell and B cell receptor repertoires, providing a high-resolution profile of immune specificities and dynamics in clinical areas, such as infection, vaccination, as well as cell and immunotherapy in cancer.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Scientific Liaison (USA) to join our growing team. This entry-level position is a unique career progression opportunity for a recent graduate passionate about the intersection of cutting-edge biotechnology and strategic market growth.

You will work closely with Omniscope’s Scientific Liaison and Computational Product Lead, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in how a biotech startup communicates its science, expands its market presence, and drives business development initiatives. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a dynamic industry setting.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Scientific Liaison to develop and execute scientific communication strategies that broaden Omniscope's market reach.
  • Actively contribute to identifying and exploring new business opportunities and collaborative projects.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and collaborators in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Support the Scientific Liaison and Computational Product Lead in market analysis and strategic planning for business expansion and product development.
  • Assist in the distribution of scientific and business development content to target audiences and collaborators.
  • Present Omniscope's innovative technology and scientific findings to diverse stakeholders, including potential partners and clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field from Ivy League institution.
  • Master's degree in Scientific Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline is highly preferred but not needed.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
  • Proven presentation skills, with the ability to confidently and charismatically convey information to various audiences.
  • (nice to have) 0-2 years of professional experience, with a strong inclination towards an industry career path in business development and/or scientific communication.
  • Demonstrated interest in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry; clear understanding that this is not an academic role.
  • Proficiency in creating visually appealing and informative scientific graphics and presentations.

Location and travel

US-based role with occasional trips to Barcelona to Company Headquarters and or events across the US.
