Operations Specialist - Spain

Job description

You would support Omniscope hyper-growth by enabling our organization and operations to move with the highest speed and quality. You would be Omniscope’s operational expert, enabling all internal operations to push all boundaries and make science happen.

The Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring performance in line with the strategy and delivering lean, excellent services with high quality and efficiency. Having all company employees as internal-clients, you’ll manage their needs as well as develop relationships with our suppliers with the end goal of converting them into our partners. Your role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to ensuring that the team is run effectively, delivering results that support Omniscope’s growth.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Allocating resources, managing capacity as well as resolving and troubleshooting operational issues,
  • Constantly optimizing, automating, and structuring the logistical processes and therewith lowering the costs, improving internal service levels, and ensuring employees’ inquiries are managed,
  • Keeping strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively take possible actions to maintain a long term relationship,
  • Evaluating bottlenecks and contributing to process improvements,
  • Being the contact person for ad hoc projects where required by company needs.

Qualifications

  • Background in business administration, economics, or similar,
  • +2 years of experience in similar positions,
  • You are a digital native: fluent in Microsoft/Google office tools and a fast learner when it comes to mastering any new digital software.
  • A plus: Experience in health, biotech, and/or previous experience in a startup.

  • Languages: English, Spanish, and Catalan,
  • You are a dynamic person with strong value commitment and a team player with excellent communication and negotiating skills,
  • You are organized, flexible, and able to act independently and to take initiative,
  • You have an entrepreneurial mind and are able to wear many hats when you think it’s needed,
  • You are a problem solver and you can perform at a high level even under strenuous circumstances.

You will be based in Barcelona, office located in Parque Cientific de Barcelona.
